Sanaz & Tim ~ Persian Wedding!

We had the amazing pleasure of being contacted by Sanaz to coordinate her and Tim's wedding. In speaking with her, she was meticulous and very well spoken. Needless to say, those are classic traits of a wonderful attorney, which she definitely is! Aside from being meticulous and detailed she is just simply a doll to be around.

When we met face to face for the first time, Tim was also there. Very soft spoken , laid back and let Sanaz do most of the talking. Being that he is a dentist, one would think he'd do a lot of talking but we guess he leaves that up to his attorney wife! LOL Although both are different in their personalities, their love for each other is so very complimenting and fit together so perfectly.

The day of their wedding, was breathe taking in so many ways. Sanaz looked absolutely STUNNING! Tim, extremely handsome and we have the pictures to prove it!! Both the ceremony and reception were held at the beautiful Westin Colonnade in Coral Gables. This is an amazing location that exudes such class and elegance. The ceremony area was draped to frame a beautiful structure where their Persian ceremony was held. The altar was adorned with sweets, honey, candles and all the details of their beautiful culture.

The reception area looked amazing with all the guest tables in crinkled olive green satin linens and gold chivari chairs to contrast the deep rich color. The florals standing at over 4’ tall, looked exquisite in the rotunda ballroom. They were comprised of willow branches, pink cymbidium orchids & green amaranthus. Tall cylinder vases in different shapes and sizes surrounded the centerpiece with floating candles for a romantic touch.

Our favorite part of the night had to be the knife dance. This is a Persian tradition where the bridesmaids dance with a knife for the bride and/or groom. The bride & groom must then pay money to retrieve the knife, in order to cut their wedding cake.

Ceremony & Reception Venue: Westin Colonnade Coral Gables (Special Thanks to the always amazing team there: Jeffrey Chirinos, Ivette Navarro & Jose Photography: Munoz Photography (Thanks so sharing these awesome pictures), Florist: Events On A Budget, DJ/Lighting: Vision Dj's, Wedding Planners: Events On A Budget

Sanaz & Tim: We can’t tell you enough how honored we are to have been chosen to assist with such an amazing day in your lives! We wish you both an abundance of blessings, love and continued success!!

Louis & Nicole’s Wedding at The Links in Key Biscayne!

This fun and classy couple tied the knot on March 6, 2010. They decided on exchanging vows at The Links Golf course in Key Biscayne, which happens to be a place the groom spends many of his Saturday's. Only this time his LOVE would be waiting in her stunning bridal gown on the 13 hole. The ceremony was set up with gold chavari chairs, white seat cushions and all white rose spheres for a romantic and classic feel. The rose petals led the way for Nicole and her loving father to take a walk they would not soon forget. The groom and his groomsmen were very handsome in their tailcoat tuxedos. The bridesmaids looked amazing in their navy blue gowns and hot pink rose bouquets.

After the ceremony guests were invited for a cocktail hour with great live music to set the tone for the exciting night that was to come. The newlyweds wasted no time and joined the party soon after they finished with pictures. The cocktail trees were decorated with lighting and lanterns which added a soft touch to the modern lounge area.

The color scheme for this wedding was just like the couple fun and classy. Tables were draped in silk navy blue linens with hot pink and white flowers. The centerpieces consisted of three different height cylinders which made for a super romantic but yet contemporary feel. The room had soft up lighting to set the mood and bring it all together. The night kicked off with the always exciting Havana Soul which played all of the families favorites. If the dance floor was somewhat empty, it had to be because they were at the bar having some of the famous Washington Apple shots the father of the bride made especially for his little girl's wedding day!

The night finished with a sweet treat from the bride and groom… Misha’s cupcakes for all their guests to take home and enjoy after this sweet sweet day :0)

Thank you to everyone that helps us make this night a success!

Alex & Olga's - Peacock Inspired Wedding!

As one of Events On a Budget's planners, I am excited to blog about my very own wedding! I tied the knot on December 5, 2009. I was clear in my vision of style and colors. Lots of Purple & Feathers! (yes, purple is my favorite color :) The final theme we chose which best described our dream wedding was the Peacock bird. It exudes such uniqueness, elegance and royalty. I had no doubt in my mind, that with the help of my Events on A Budget Team our wedding was going to be just what we always wanted and more! Alex, my fiancée was very laid back and let me choose everything I wanted (good start to our marriage. LOL). The only input he had, was when it came to food and layout, but we were able to make good compromises. He was a great fiancée and now husband. Happy wife = Happy life!!

The décor was amazing, from our floral arrangements, to the linens and up lighting, everything came together and looked stunning! . The gem tones all radiated and my bridesmaids looked amazing in their mulit-colored gowns. Alex and I could not have been happier and more blessed on that day.

My favorite part of the night was watching everyone dance, enjoy and celebrate our new life together! It was an amazing experience to share such a joyous day with everyone!

Ceremony Venue: Epiphany Catholic Church, Reception Venue: Palmetto Bay Village Center, Photography & Videography: Simply Captivating, Florist: Petunia Flowers, Linens & Chair Rentals: AB Covers , DJ:Vision DJ's, Samba Drummers & Dancers: Urban Tribal Project. Uplighting: Events On A Budget, Wedding Planners: Events On A Budget, Hair & Makeup : Gloria Pelo. Jewelry & Cake Topper : Twinkle Twinkle.

To My Events On A Budget Team: Thank you so much for keeping my head grounded during the planning of our amazing wedding day! I am truly blessed to work with such an amazing company and to make other brides and grooms dreams come true, just as mine were!
