Ebonee & Chris’ Miami Destination Wedding

When it comes to planning a wedding from another state, it is always challenging for a bride and groom.  We are so fortunate to get a lot of destination weddings and think we have become quite the experts at easing along the challenging process for our couples. Ebonee had to plan her destination wedding from Maryland and didn't have many opportunities to come down to Miami and do the planning little by little like most couples do. This amazing couple took care of their planning like champs!  We had to knock out all of their meetings in just two days. We all worked together as a team, on all the other details via e-mail or phone which was a great way to get to know each other before the big day.

The wedding turned out beautiful and the color combinations used at the Miami Beach Botanical Garden looked timeless. We went with chocolate pintuck linens for all tables and brought a nice pop of color using vibrant orange napkins over elegant gold chargers to match the center pieces. The centerpieces consisted of  two different tones of orange roses, mango callas and a nice lush base of cream hydrangeas. The room had a nice romantic glow from the amber up-lighting, which looked amazing on the white draping which wrapped the beautiful space. 

This couple was an absolute delight to work with and was great to see them enjoy their big day to the fullest. We hope to help more couples have their dream weddings in S. Florida and be part of such an amazing day for them!

Etienne & James ~ Modern Love Affair!

It has been quite a few months since these love birds tied the knot but still think of them with such love and fondness! As planners, working with couples who trust you and know that in our hearts we want the best for them, makes what we do that much more rewarding and full filling. They contacted us back in January 2011 and got married Dec. 2012. Almost 2 years in the making and such a wonderful time working together and being part of their most special day.

Etienne is Gorgeous to say the least! James is smooth and cool and just adores his girl. (Quite handsome himself.) They make such a picture perfect couple.  Together they wanted a modern, classic, elegant but most importantly FUN FUN FUN wedding!  They love to party, as their friends and they sure did have a blast!  The decor was the always Modern and Youthful, Tiffany Blue with Pops of Magenta and Purple Hues with accents in Brown.  

Etienne & James: What can we say that we have not to each other! LOL  Love you guys and send you an abundance of blessings from the Lord above. From the Bride Etienne: "Where do I start??? It can be from the slice of cake, our awesome planner saved us with 2 bottles of milk to take to our room the nigh of. Or it could be the little cute, pink tissues they had readily available for anyone ready to shed a tear. Words can't describe how grateful we are for all they did for us. They brought our visions to life and helped make our dreams come true. They are truly amazing, to say the least. I would have probably gone nuts if I had to orchestrate the day of my wedding. They managed to pull everything together and made it happen. I appreciate all that goes into putting a wedding together and what sets them apart from the rest is that they really care about their clients. They pay attention to detail and want you to have the best day of your life. They are genuine people for passion in what they do and all shows in their work. Every question or concern I had, they would reply within a few hours or less. They were always there for us. It's one thing to hire someone to plan your wedding but it's another to hire someone that cares about your wedding. This company are those people who care. We love them and will forever be their biggest fan!

Iris & Eric ~ Winter Soiree

Iris was hands down one of our most favorite brides to work with. As planners we love when our clients put their trust in us and know that we are putting our heart and soul into their wedding day. Iris was the definitely, that bride. In planning her wedding we had a blast! Every outing was fun and she was such a pleasure to be around!

Iris & Eric are such genuinely nice and humble people. After meeting both their mom’s during our meetings and the rest of their families during the wedding you can really see what a wonderful foundation they were both brought up with. They both excelled in school, their careers and are now both Doctor’s. Even with their accomplishments they have kept the values instilled by their families, stayed true to their traditions and over all remained humble and generous people.

Their wedding was awesome! Such a reflection of their cultures, personalities and the love they had for each other and their families! Every single detail was thoroughly though out… Eric is Mexican and Iris is Puerto Rican so their wedding really embraced their cultures. The food was such an intricate part. We had a Mexican station with slow roasted meats, fresh tortillas (made by Eric’s family who owns a tortilla plant), homemade salsa’s. The Puerto Rican station had yucca, mofongo, rice, pink beans and roasted pork. There was also a salad station with a variety of dressings, toppings and delectable fresh breads. To end the evening we had fresh churros with Mexican hot chocolate, which was perfect for the cold January night. Their décor was a perfect combination of elegance meets modern. The crushed brown linens against the deep red florals and up lighting looked stunning at the always breathtaking Deering Estate. Just Stunning!

We had so many favorite parts of this wedding, we just cant mention one. We loved how the mariachis walked down with Eric, the hot chocolate and churros, their very cute entrance, their choreographed 1st dance and the crazy garter removal! (Eric your in trouble Mr.! LOL :)
