Marissa & Chris ~ Classy Gables Wedding!

We are very excited to showcase this next wedding, as Marissa & Chris were an amazing couple to work with. We loved how these two interacted, as much as Marissa was in love with Chris, Chris was equally in aww by Marissa. They both live in Texas and were in Miami vendor scouting when I had the opportunity to meet them. Marissa being a Miami native decided that they wanted to have their wedding in Sunny Florida. We loved that Chris was involved with wedding details and was very supportive too! What a successful couple is all about!

We had a lot of communication with Marissa remotely since she was in Texas, but thank goodness she was so organized that all went very smooth. The day of their wedding, was breath taking in so many ways. Marissa looked absolutely whimsical! Chris, extremely handsome and smiling from ear to ear!! Reception was held at the beautiful Hyatt Hotel in Coral Gables. The ballroom was transformed into a romantic haven. Filled with colors of peaches, pinks, whites and hints of green.

The reception area looked amazing with all the guest tables draped in white linens and gold chivari chairs to complement the elegant decor. The floral’s were done in high and low vases and looked exquisite in the open ballroom. They were comprised of different roses, peony’s, and orchids.

Our favorite part of the night had to be when watching Chris and Marissa interact all night long. They danced every chance they got and really enjoyed the first dance as husband and wife. Marissa danced with her sweet brother in memory of her late father. It made for a very special moment as Chris also danced with his mom, which really was a show in itself. You can see the great relationship he has with his mom. One final amazing detail was a special Texas ice-cream they brought all the way from home. The flavor: Texas BBQ Sauce!

Marissa & Chris: Thank you for giving us the opportunity to make your day special! It was our pleasure and good luck in Texas!!!

From Mr & Mrs Kubinski: "Thank you again for everything. We can't stop talking about how perfect the day went. I loved how the ballroom looked and the little details we incorporated were really well received. And thanks for decorating our room with candles and petals. You are an excellent coordinator and I am so glad you were part of our wedding experience. "

Cierra & Hector ~ Coco Plum Wedding

Unlike most clients where the bride or groom contact our company, the mother of the bride was our point person for most of the planning process. Fortunately, for us she was such a sweet person and a joy to work with. We worked mostly via email and phone since mom Elaine, Cierra and Hector all lived out of Florida. Cierra and Hector both work in DC with very demanding government positions which require a high level of time commitment. With their crazy schedule Elaine stepped right in and was more than willing to help her daughter plan a dream wedding. Once we got closer to the wedding Cierra took control and jumped right in to make sure all her requests and details were being met. Lucky for us, Cierra was happy with the planning process thus far and the transition was a smooth one.

In meeting Cierra, Hector and their families I was so taken back by the love from everyone. Their families are all so united and loving, which made us so happy to be part of their wedding day!

Their ceremony took place at the beautiful St. Patricks Catholic Church Miami Beach and reception at Coco Plum Woman's Club. Both beautiful places!! The wedding reception was elegantly decorated with Royal Blue pintuck linens with different shades of pink florals and details for modern touch. To summarize their wedding in one word: FUN! Hector and Cierra along with their families and friends were a blast! They started off with a DJ and then had Miller Road Band for a couple of sets which the crowd really loved. Our most favorite part of the evening had to be all the personal dedications given throughout the night. First, Hector’s father got up with his guitar and rocked along with the band for a special song he dedicated to his son. Then, Cierra’s sister got on the mic to senerade her with a very touching song. Lastly, Hector got all the guys to sing to his wife. Such a memorable night!!

Cierra, Hector & Elaine: Thank you soooo much for choosing our company to be part of such a memorable night in your families lives! We are beyond thrilled to have met you all and share this moment with you. Wishing you a lifetime of love and blessings!!! Xoxoxo

“As the mother of the bride you want everything to be perfect for you daughters big day, Melissa and her staff did just that. Her services were the best money we spent on the wedding. If you want a truly amazing wedding day call her she is the best. – Elaine”

“Miami's Events On A Budget Team went above and beyond all of my expectations for a wedding coordinating business. Events On A Budget are true professional’s and artist’s. As a destination bride I found planning my wedding extremely stressful, especially since in Miami most of the Vendor's speak only Spanish. As all brides know you become a little bit of a control freak about every minute detail, so when the vendors speak another language it makes everything a little bit more difficult . The Events On A Budget team stepped in and found me quality vendors at amazing prices. They were extremely responsive to all questions/concerns and definitely made me feel at ease. I definitely recommend their services to all local and out of town brides. – Cierra”

Brian and Ana's wedding!

Yes, I know I have been slacking with my posts! It's just more time consuming than you imagine. It literally takes, at least 2 hours to write something and upload the pictures! I just know that past brides love looking at their photos and also new brides love to see new inspiration. I update as many as I can and especially if I get the request but just can't post them all....... I also wish I had the time to post great finds or inspirations like other boards, such as: (http://www.stylemepretty.com/ or http://kenziekate.blogspot.com/ ) IF ONLY I COULD ADD MORE HOURS TO MY DAY! For now I will go back to my post :0)

Well this is a perfect example of why posts are so great! Olga and I had the pleasure of working this wedding together and we both agree this was such a great wedding! The decor was amazing and the color scheme that Ana chose (after much deliberation ;0) looked AWESOME! Ana and Brian were married at St. Patricks and their reception was held at Miami Beach Botanical Garden. I have to say they love to party and so do their friends. They danced the whole night away. Only because we pulled them to take pics, did they do so...but I am sure, they are now glad they did as the memories captured will last forever.

The dinner was held in the great lawn and the inside was set up as a lounge, complete with draping, lighting and lounge furniture. It really looked amazing! The hit of the night had to be the Luge but now that I think about it so was the candy bar and Misha's cupcakes. Everything was a hit!!

My favorite part though, was the funny dance they did with their parents. Right after Ana finished dancing with Brian they did a skit where it seemed the music was cut and something that wasn't supposed to play did. A second later they were all doing a dancing to Lukes song Captain D coming. It was great!!

The gorgeous pictures were taken by http://www.simplycaptivating.com/. Thanks Melissa & Javier for always sharing memories for me to post.

Ana and Brian: Olga and I wish you all the Happiness in the World! May God continue to bless your love Forever!!!
