Marriage Classes

Being in the wedding industry we see couples get married day in and day out. The wedding day is wonderful and couples are so in love. What would be most full filling is that they stay in love for years to come! We believe in love but we also believe a relationship takes work and is a counscious effort that needs to be worked on every day.

Usually, when you marry by church they require classes but if you marry else where you are not. I would encourage that all couples not only take classes or workshops prior to their marriage but every year if possible. In this crazy life and a million distractions, we tend to take the things or people who mean most to us for granted. My greatest pleasure, would be for all that get married to be together not only forever but HAPPILY forever.

Eddie Rodriguez a very well known Reverend in the South Florida community offers workshops for couples. Below is an email I recieved about one of the workshops he offers:

Merry Christmas 2008 ~ Jesus is the reason

Want to take a moment and wish everyone a very Merry Christmas! May we remember that Jesus is the true reason for Christmas. Let every sparkling light remind us of how he illuminates our lives, a shining beacon to guide us in our thoughts and actions each day. As we enjoy our gifts, let us never forget that he is the greatest gift of all--our wonderful Savior, Counselor, Giver of an eternal life whose wonders we cannot imagine. So as we delight in Christmas, the happiest and brightest of holidays, let us remember there would be no Christmas without him.

Wishing all a safe and joyous time with your most dearly loved! I am very thankful for my family, friends, colleagues and clients. Each one is a blessing...thank you!!

I recently came across this great article from Liene Stevens at Blue Orchid Designs based out of Arizona! (one of the top wedding planning firms in that area & expanding) Loved the article & really felt that I had to share.... Why you say?

My company was named "Events On A Budget" with the intent that our prices would always remain reasonable for our brides. I know that our prices are not the least expensive in the industry but they are reasonable for that of a professional! We sometimes get inquiries from brides telling us how they recieved some extemely low quotes for other planners services & that they would like the same from us. This article really makes light of this topic & think anyone looking for a planner should read this before doing price comparisons!
