Debra & Nick ~ Spanish Romance!

What a wonderful wedding to blog about, not only because of the beautiful decor and photos but also because of the amazing couple we got to work with! 

They chose Spanish Monastery to host their reception and nearby St. Mary Magdalen for their catholic ceremony. Such a lovely couple with ginormous hearts for each other, their families and everyone they come in contact with. How blessed were we to help plan their wedding?!?! 

The day could not have been more perfect!  Their decor was classic elegance with crystal chandeliers, ivory linens and gold chivari chairs for a sophisticated and regal look. 

Our favorite part of the evening had to be the dancing. Everyone had a blast and we so enjoyed every second of their magical night!

Anesia & Auguste Classic wedding in The Ancient Spanish Monastery

From early on we knew this lovely couple was going to be a breeze to work with. They booked our Wedding in a Box package about a year and a half before their wedding date, which gave them plenty of time to budget and plan accordingly.

This couple was classic and simple in their choices of venues and style of wedding.  They chose the timeless Ancient Spanish Monastery in North Miami Beach for their beautiful reception and Plymouth Congregational Church for a gorgeous ceremony along with their stunning bridal party, family and friends.

The reception was styled beautifully with damask cream linens and gold chivari chairs with cream cushions to encompass the elegant space. Centerpieces where a mix of lavender roses, cream and green hydrangea’s, natural willow and Picasso callas, for a pop of contrast.  As the sunset, the cloisters looking amazing with purple up lighting for a wonderful night glow.

Gina & Jeff ~ Ancient Spanish Monastery Wedding

Gina and Jeff were an absolute joy to work with; they were so much fun during all the planning we couldn't wait till their big day. They were so easy going and their main priority was to make sure the party was fun. They decided on The Ancient Spanish Monastery after a visit they had when they both fell in love with the space. They wanted the look for their wedding day to be romantic and in an outdoor setting and that’s exactly what they got. The ceremony took place in the old chapel inside of the Monastery which is so charming and perfect for the amount of guests they were expecting. After the ceremony the cocktail hour took place in the ancient halls of the Monastery where guests took pictures and enjoyed cocktails while   hors d’oeuvres were being passed.

The tables for the reception were dressed in beautiful silver linens with matching silver chivary chairs. The accent color for the evening was a nice burnt red which was found on the cushions, napkins and stunning center pieces. The center pieces were tall and full of color, everyone loved them! Red up-lighting made the space look extra romantic and very inviting.

During the reception the bride and groom had a photo booth for their guests to have some fun with and they all sure did! Once the party started it was hard to get people back in their seats to enjoy a slice of cake or even a drink of water. This family was here to dance and they weren’t stopping for anything or anyone. Some rain tried to slow down the party but even that couldn’t stop them. The bride and groom were the first to get on the dance floor and the last ones to leave it. That’s how we like to see our couples enjoy their day 

It was so beautiful to see how much Gina and Jeff love each other it was all love from start to finish of this whole planning process. It makes us so happy to be part of a beautiful union like the one they made.

We want to wish them all the joy, love and happiness in the world for many years to come!
