Dianna & Ricardo ~ Navy & Fuchsia Spanish Monastery Wedding!

We had the amazing pleasure of being contacted by Dianna Darsney to coordinate her and Ricardo’s wedding. Since the day I met with this couple there was a special connection. Ricardo was sweet with a huge smile to light up any room. Dianna was vibrant, full of life and I felt like I had known her my whole life. In speaking with them, they wanted a small wedding but with lots of little details to make it all so very special. This couple was definitely different, she is American but fluent in Spanish and he is Peruvian. You would not have imagined what a great combo these two made. At the time Ricardo was living in Peru and Diana was traveling from Peru to different parts of the world as her job had required her to do. They decided on Miami b/c it was close to everyone to attend, from family and friends. It was the perfect medium, just as they were. We were hired to do DOC for them, and kept well in touch over email with Dianna. I loved writing to her b/c she would always tell me all the details she was working on, but I always felt like she was talking to me. Her emails made me smile and feel like we were in the same room. Diana just had that amazing touch, no wonder Ricardo feel so in love with her.

The day of their wedding, was breathe taking in so many ways. Dianna looked absolutely STUNNING! Ricardo, extremely handsome and we have the pictures to prove it!! Both the ceremony and reception were held at the beautiful Spanish Monastery. This is an amazing location that exudes such vintage and elegance. The ceremony area was in the garden and was so quaint.

The reception area looked amazing with all the guest tables in crinkled pin tuck navy satin linens and gold chivari chairs to contrast the deep rich color. The floral’s in high and low vases, looked exquisite in the open ballroom. They were comprised of different fuchsia colors of roses, peony’s, and orchids.

Our favorite part of the night had to be when Ricardo serenaded his beautiful wife. I have to admit, I always get nervous when a man serenades his wife in front of all the guests and hoping his voice comes out amazing, but Ricardo can sing. I want to say he sound a lot like Marc Anthony. We even melted as he sang a love song to his wife. lol!

Dianna & Ricardo: Thank you for giving us the opportunity to make your day special! It was our pleasure and good luck in Africa!!!

From Mr & Mrs Salcedo: Millions of good things to say about you. :) You are fabulous. My friends loved you and think you are the organizer extraordinaire. Everyone kept saying, "wow that planner is just so nice ... they aren't always so NICE" .. Ha! Millions of thanks!

Cierra & Hector ~ Coco Plum Wedding

Unlike most clients where the bride or groom contact our company, the mother of the bride was our point person for most of the planning process. Fortunately, for us she was such a sweet person and a joy to work with. We worked mostly via email and phone since mom Elaine, Cierra and Hector all lived out of Florida. Cierra and Hector both work in DC with very demanding government positions which require a high level of time commitment. With their crazy schedule Elaine stepped right in and was more than willing to help her daughter plan a dream wedding. Once we got closer to the wedding Cierra took control and jumped right in to make sure all her requests and details were being met. Lucky for us, Cierra was happy with the planning process thus far and the transition was a smooth one.

In meeting Cierra, Hector and their families I was so taken back by the love from everyone. Their families are all so united and loving, which made us so happy to be part of their wedding day!

Their ceremony took place at the beautiful St. Patricks Catholic Church Miami Beach and reception at Coco Plum Woman's Club. Both beautiful places!! The wedding reception was elegantly decorated with Royal Blue pintuck linens with different shades of pink florals and details for modern touch. To summarize their wedding in one word: FUN! Hector and Cierra along with their families and friends were a blast! They started off with a DJ and then had Miller Road Band for a couple of sets which the crowd really loved. Our most favorite part of the evening had to be all the personal dedications given throughout the night. First, Hector’s father got up with his guitar and rocked along with the band for a special song he dedicated to his son. Then, Cierra’s sister got on the mic to senerade her with a very touching song. Lastly, Hector got all the guys to sing to his wife. Such a memorable night!!

Cierra, Hector & Elaine: Thank you soooo much for choosing our company to be part of such a memorable night in your families lives! We are beyond thrilled to have met you all and share this moment with you. Wishing you a lifetime of love and blessings!!! Xoxoxo

“As the mother of the bride you want everything to be perfect for you daughters big day, Melissa and her staff did just that. Her services were the best money we spent on the wedding. If you want a truly amazing wedding day call her she is the best. – Elaine”

“Miami's Events On A Budget Team went above and beyond all of my expectations for a wedding coordinating business. Events On A Budget are true professional’s and artist’s. As a destination bride I found planning my wedding extremely stressful, especially since in Miami most of the Vendor's speak only Spanish. As all brides know you become a little bit of a control freak about every minute detail, so when the vendors speak another language it makes everything a little bit more difficult . The Events On A Budget team stepped in and found me quality vendors at amazing prices. They were extremely responsive to all questions/concerns and definitely made me feel at ease. I definitely recommend their services to all local and out of town brides. – Cierra”

Shannon & Jared ~ Coconut Grove Wedding!

Shannon & I hit it off from our very first meeting! She came accompanied by her work event planner, so they were ready with all the right questions to ask. I’m am so happy that they were impressed and hired me!

This unique couple did not want a traditional style wedding; they wanted a cocktail style reception which allowed everyone to keep mingling as the night went on. The decor was elegant whites with navy blue accents which made for such an enchanting ambiance. The amber lighting put the final touch for a romantic evening.

Shannon & Jared are an amazing couple, they really have a great connection! They are playful and sarcastic with each other, which kept me cracking up watching them together. One of my favorite parts was the polish wedding cup ritual for the toast. It was a cup that was used at Jared parents wedding and looks like a tradition they will carry on. For the end of the night we did a beautiful fireworks exit that took the couple out of the venue and all the way to their hotel for a beautiful wedding night.

Shannon & Jared: it was our most sincere pleasure to be part of your wedding day. We enjoyed every minute of you guys enjoying your night and starting your wonderful life together. May God fill your lives with an abundance of love, peace and happiness.

" Thank you so much for everything! Jared and I as well as our family and friends thought everything went very smoothly and had a wonderful time. I really appreciate all your hard work and calm demeanor throughout the day! I'm definitely recommending you to every bride I know. :)”
