Leslie & Michael ~ Elegant Wedding!

We love to post as much as we can on our blog, not only for new brides & grooms to see our work but also to share the amazing moments we get to be a part of.  Today in the mail we received pictures for Leslie and Michael's wedding from their photographer, which just so happens to be their 1 year anniversary!

We are excited to share this wedding with you not just because of how beautiful everything turned out but because they are such a wonderful and loving couple.  Their wedding ceremony was held at St. Peter and Paul and their reception at the Shane Center in Miami Beach.  Thinking back about the planning, the thing that most stands out is how picky she was about the damask pattern. She drove everyone crazy and we must have looked at dozens of them, until she found the perfect one.  When she found the perfect one, we all breathed a sigh of relief. LOL  Her décor was elegant and classy.  She opted for most of the tables to have black linens and just a few with the damask pattern. All guest tables were adorned with the timeless beauty of red roses in three different shades.  Black Chivari chairs and red up lighting offered the final touch for this bold and fun wedding.

Our favorite part of the night was the hora loca. The drummers, dancers and stilt walkers were awesome!  There was not one person in their seats as everyone was on the dance floor having an awesome time.

Leslie & Michael: Today is your 1 year anniversary and am so happy that we are able to reflect on your wedding on this special occasion! Thank you for giving us the amazing pleasure of helping you plan this amazing day but most importantly getting to know you both and how very special you are. Wishing you many more years of love, happiness and health. God Bless you!!  Love you guys!!

From the Bride: “They are bride-to-be’s sanity during what is probably the craziest and most stressful time of your life. From the beginning to even after the wedding, they have been the most professional, resourceful, knowledgeable and easy going people I have every worked with. They took care of pretty much every detail of my wedding and truly brough to life the image I had for my wedding day. I cannot stress enough their level of professionalism and ability to answer every question you have. I never felt in the year that we worked together that I asked a question that they didn’t have the answer for. There were no I don’t know or maybe’s. They always had the answer. They are awesome and I had a great time working with them. My Husband was happy and excited to see them at another wedding that they coordinated a few weeks after our own…. That’s how awesome they are! “

Alyssa & Jose ~ Coral Gables Wedding!

How do I start and even express myself about this wedding, which I was not only honored to be part of but also enjoyed whole heartedly! A few years ago, I had the amazing pleasure of marrying Vanessa & Erick which just happen to be Alyssa’s sister and Jose’s best friend. Fast forward a few years, Jose popped the question and now Erick and Jose are not only best friends but also family. Maritere the brides’ mom, was a very intricate part of the planning for both her girls and boy did we always have a blast at all our meetings!

In designing Alyssa’s wedding, she was first very laid back, calm and collected but a few weeks before the wedding she really got involved and turned up the pace. She chose some beautiful plum and eggplant tones, with some slight touches of burgundy for an amazing contrast. The ceremony was held at the beautiful St. Hugh Catholic Church and reception at the historic Douglas Entrance in Coral Gables. The linens were custom made triple pintuck, which looked so modern and elegant! We used mahogany chivari chairs and gold cushions and of course purple up lighting to give it the final amazing touch!

My favorite part of the night had to be when the bride/groom and entire bridal party used masks and fun giveaways to start their hora loca. It was so much fun and the crowd really loved that is was them who started festivities!

Alyssa & Jose: Thank you so very much for allowing me to part of yet another amazing family moment! Both you and your families are awesome and feel so blessed to know you!! May God bless your marriage FOREVER and continue sending you an abundance of blessings. Love you both!! Xoxoxo

Ashley & Alex ~ Botanical Gardens Wedding!

Ashley & Alex ~ Botanical Gardens Wedding!

This post is long overdue but definitely a must! Thinking back on this wedding, it’s so nice to think of your past clients with such fond memories and to know it was a great experience for everyone involved. I love when I see such support from parents on their children’s wedding but especially when I see such excitement. For this wedding not only were Ashley and Alex excited but her parents were just as elated. When they would get together to do wedding stuff they would call it “weddingpalozza”. They are too adorable!!

The wedding was so intimate and fun. Unfortunately, some of Alex’s family was not able to make it from Colombia which was really disappointing but they made the best of it and still enjoyed their most special day, as much as possible! White table linens with all burgundy callas made for simple and yet very elegant décor. The botanical gardens set for a beautiful, lush and organic back drop for their Spring wedding.

Our favorite part of their wedding had to be all the dances, which were either super emotional or a blast! You can see for yourself, there is a lot of tears and also laughter!

Ashley/Alex (& Jo Ann J) It was such an immense pleasure to take part in this special day for all of you. I truly enjoyed seeing your families enjoy your selves so much and feel honored to have been part of this important time in your lives! Xoxoxo Best Wishes Always!

“Not enough wonderful words in my vocabulary to describe how great Melissa is. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU. Expect a call when we renew our vows in 10 years and I want another party! ;-) – Ashley”

“Melissa is the most AWESOME wedding planner ever! She is super responsive to emails and is very patient. My daughter's wedding looked amazing! It was hard to believe that we did this wedding on a budget! The florist she uses is incredible. The flowers were beyond our expectations. I can't begin to explain how wonderful Events on a Budget is! The decor was beautiful and Melissa took care of everyone. If we needed anything- it appeared. Everything ran smoothly- all vendors were on time and were very professional. I highly recommend this company!” – Jo Ann

Marielle & Andrew Wedding!

After knowing Marielle quite a few years, it was so wonderful to hear that she was engaged to be married. Even more excited that she thought about our company to help her bring it all together and we would be part of this wonderful day! Marielle comes from a very tight knit Dominican family who loves to party! Andrew is half Mexican & Italian, yup quite the mix! I don't think we need to mention how much fun their wedding was?!?!

Marielle moved to NY a few years ago to be with Andrew. They have settled in and now call NY, their home. They really wanted to get the feel of Miami, tropical and beautiful! Red Fish always is perfect and set’s up for such an amazing back drop. They wanted to enhance the beauty of Red Fish and just keep it simple and elegant. We used white linens, all Burgundy calla lily’s for centerpieces and mahogany Chivari chairs. Everything looked exactly as she envisioned!
