Raquel & Chad ~ Modern Chic Wedding!

Came across this beautiful pictures and can't believe we never blogged them! A beautiful couple inside and out! So blessed to have shared this very special day with them and their families. Their ceremony took place in the garden of St. Thomas Catholic Church and the reception Palmetto Bay Village Center.  Their decor consisted of mostly whites with simple pops of purple for a very modern and chic look.
Our favorite part of the evening had to be when Chad’s dad played a recording of Chad as a baby talking with his mom. The most cutest and sweetest thing we ever heard.  What a priceless moment!

Thank you Chad & Raquel for letting us be part of your day! We send you our most sincerest prayers and love for a blessed life! Xoxo

Thank you Elaine Palladino for sharing these amazing pics!!

From the Bride:
“Amidst my now-hubby being in medical school and me working full time and going to school full time as well, we got engagement and were planning our wedding…crazy right? I knew it was going to be busy and stressful but I still wanted to enjoy planning our wedding, so I knew we needed help. That help came in the form of the godsend knows as Events On A Budget- they were a complete life saver! We did the Wedding in a Box package and it worked out perfectly. With this package, you can name your budget, which aspects of the wedding you want included and which are more important to you (i.e. photographer, invitations, catering etc.) and they can recommend different tier vendors based on your wants/needs.  For me, this was crucial since I didn’t have time to research thousands of different vendors out there in South Florida. We told them what we wanted and they pretty much delivered it to us on a silver platter! Our big day went smoothly and we didn’t have to worry about a thing. They are very organized and reassuring but most importantly they truly care about their clients. Thank you, we couldn’t have done it without you! “

Fleur-de-lis Love at The Mayfair

We really enjoyed putting together this wedding which had a nice laid back, New Orleans kinda feel to it. With the French fleur-de-lis symbol as a main design factor for the overall theme for this wedding, it was fun bringing more of New Orleans feel to their Miami wedding. When picking their theme it was pretty easy to see the couple really loved New Orleans because they wanted to incorporate different aspects of the city with in their big day. One of the neatest things that really stood out and isn't done enough is that the couple had brass instruments play their ceremony music instead of the usual string instruments. That alone really set the tone for the rest of the evening.

Without even knowing, the couple picked the perfect venue, The Mayfair Hotel actually has fleur-de-lis symbols all around their beautiful hotel. The bride made miniature personalized street light just like you find in the streets of New Orleans which were used for guests seating cards, a super cute touch! They also had salt and pepper shakers for each guest to take home that were in the shape of...you guested it, the fleur-de-lis symbol. The symbol was everywhere but very tastefully used. Even the cake had a gorgeous silver fleur-de-lis broach that will probably become a keepsake for may years to come. The reception decoration was very pretty and the amber up-lighting gave the room a warm romantic glow. Their colors were purples, silver, white and a touch of vibrant pink.

This couple had such a busy schedule it was always a treat to be able to get together and get the planning taken care of. It was fun seeing their vision come to life and seeing how surprised they were in themselves that they could put together such a unique and beautiful wedding. It was our pleasure to just be part of that.

To the bride & groom: May your marriage be as symbolic and timeless as the fleur-de-lis symbol and as fun and enjoyable as the "Big Easy" New Orleans is. Wishing you both nothing but the very best and we hope you continue discovering all the amazing things that can be done when you both work at it together, like you did for your special day.

Anesia & Auguste Classic wedding in The Ancient Spanish Monastery

From early on we knew this lovely couple was going to be a breeze to work with. They booked our Wedding in a Box package about a year and a half before their wedding date, which gave them plenty of time to budget and plan accordingly.

This couple was classic and simple in their choices of venues and style of wedding.  They chose the timeless Ancient Spanish Monastery in North Miami Beach for their beautiful reception and Plymouth Congregational Church for a gorgeous ceremony along with their stunning bridal party, family and friends.
The reception was styled beautifully with damask cream linens and gold chivari chairs with cream cushions to encompass the elegant space. Centerpieces where a mix of lavender roses, cream and green hydrangea’s, natural willow and Picasso callas, for a pop of contrast.  As the sunset, the cloisters looking amazing with purple up lighting for a wonderful night glow.

Thank you both so much, for being super sweet to work with and letting us take part of this once in a lifetime special day! May God bless you with love, health and a lifetime of happiness for many years to come.
